You're My Best Friend In A World We Must Defend

So happy to have had time to at last complete this!  This is my first drawing on the computer since before my son Xander was born (so it's been around 10 months)!  It's so nice getting back at it again.  I've really missed drawing more often.  

This is inspired by Pokemon GO, the newfound addiction everyone in the world seems to have acquired, including myself. ^_^  If I had a Pokemon team, this would be it.  Granted, it's not made up of the most powerful of monsters, but these guys are my favorites, and I love them.  <3  Also, my trainer (whose name I always imagined as Willow, until Pokemon GO claimed Professor Willow -- and he's a dude!) is friends with Mew and Dragonite, which is why they can be seen flying overhead.  The background I painted by hand using watercolor colored pencils, and the characters were done all in Photoshop using my Wacom.

Vaporen - Tyde (male)
Talonflame - Nova (female)
Bulbasaur - Bud (male)
Luxray - Volt (male)
Butterfree - Zephyr (male)
Noivern - Dusk (male)
